Ellie said: “I had such a great time recording ‘Won In A Million’. The podcast is all about celebrating that fuzzy feeling that winning gives us by chatting to some professional winning guests. Between them they’ve won Drag Race, BGT, Emmys, BAFTAs and even a hip hop championship, so what better group of people to grill about winning in all its beautiful glory. The line up is stellar, the chat is fantastic and I know listeners will love it!”
Guests include:
- Helen Skelton, multiple world record holder
- Ginger Johnson, champion hot dog eater and winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race
- Kola Bokkini, star of Ted Lasso and Celebrity Race Across The World
- Thanyia Moore, comedian, actor and presenter and winner of The National Funny Woman Awards
- Richard Jones, winner of Britain’s Got Talent and showstopping podcast magic performer.
The series marks just one part of a six month partnership deal struck between Reach and Allwyn, who has been the licensee of the National Lottery since February. Other elements include a 12-part regional video vox pop series, coverwraps and local competitions.
Piers North, Chief Revenue Officer at Reach said:
“We are pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with The National Lottery with the launch of this podcast – a joyful breath of fresh air in what can be gloomy times. Our Studio, launched earlier this year, has allowed us to broaden our multiplatform output to reach an even wider audience, and this podcast is a great example of what our teams can do, combining talent, creativity and technical skill.”
