Reach and National World announced this week they had agreed a partnership deal which will see Reach representing all National World print titles in its advertising packages. The deal brings together the two largest regional newspaper publishers into a single advertising offering for advertisers.
Once implemented, National World’s titles will form part of Reach’s advertising packages including its popular Big City package, bringing together National World brands such as the Yorkshire Post, the Sheffield Star and the Scotsman with Reach regional dailies including the Manchester Evening News, Liverpool Echo and Birmingham Mail.
Piers North, Reach Chief Revenue Officer said: “We are very pleased to work with National World on this partnership, bringing their great newsbrands into the fold of our already strong proposition for advertisers.
“National agencies will now have a one-stop shop to access the audiences of the strongest regional brands in the country via our Big City package – making us the home for advertisers to reach communities.”
Mark Hollinshead, Chief Operating Officer said: “Reach Solutions is the market leader in its sector and the addition of National World’s print brands will further enhance the ‘Big City’ package, creating compelling solutions for advertisers.”
The agreement follows on from a similar partnership formed in 2022, when DC Thomson announced its titles would be represented by Reach to the agency market.
